It’s seems like it’s the season for monitors as LG has also announced a couple of newbie’s into the Indian market. LG Electronics has recently launched its brand new Super LED E60 monitor series, an elegant, minimalist collection featuring the very latest in monitor high-technology.
The two in question are a couple of LED backlit monitors that go by model numbers E60 and E90. With a depth of just 12.9mm, the E60 is one of the slimmest in the monitor category in India and stands out, thanks to its innovative design and its transparent neck lending a futuristic and sleek look.
The transparent neck, although not serving any real purpose definitely enhances its overall fashion sense. The E60 feature options like – mega contrast ratio, an easy-to-use EZ Control OSD, photo effects and original ratio and a 5 millisecond response time. In line with LG’s eco-friendly policy, the E60 monitor series offers a set of eco-conscious features including reduced energy consumption – as much as 45 percent less than conventional LCD monitors – and reduced use of hazardous materials such as halogen or mercury. It supports HDMI and analogue.

LG E90 features 21.5 inch 16:9 cinema aspect ratio with a native full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 250 nits of brightness, 2ms response time, D-Sub, DVI and HDMI connectivity and LG’s Image Booster software.

I was hoping to get this monitor because it looks cool and i think its close to 1080p not sure or any other 1080p monitor but would it work with the ps3 blu ray? Why do people buy expensive tvs when u could just get monitors?
Sure you can, but you won’t have audio connection if you plug HDMI directly into the monitor.
