Just got this recently and i need to use component. Do i have to buy an adapter or what?

Per your added details: see the link below for a component video to VGA video adapter that *might* work. If it doesn’t, then you don’t really have a practical solution. You really need a TV with an actual component input, and yours doesn’t have it.
If you use that adapter, you’ll need to make a separate connection for audio, to an outboard speaker-amplifier system. The TV most likely has no audio association with the VGA input jack.
