Well, finally convinced, and decided to buy Samsung UN55B8000. I have owned for almost a month and I am every time I see it in amazement. This series is beautiful, even when turned off. But I will not take off because there are transparency, information, brightness, contrast and color quite unique. Television was the first time I had to make changes to the default settings – had an excellent field. I bought a self-calibration DVD and was surprised that it is necessary to review the Regulation.
Of course, the most obvious of this group and that is what attracts me first image quality. It is difficult, the level of detail that occurs to explain. I have cable HD channels (1080i), which is fantastic. Games on the Xbox 360 is in sight. But the source of the images on Blu-ray is absolutely breathtaking. I was pleasantly surprised by the brightness of the screen in your living room, the sun is shining. wanted to see the full glory of days back and forth to see at night because I our old Sony TV. Although the screen is glossy UN55B8000 makes a great work to reduce glare and reflection .

All you 3D HDTV gurus give me your opinion. Should I get 120hz refresh or 240hz?
Ok so I have a limited amount of money to spend and I definitely want an LED tv, not LCD, not Plasma, but LED. I can either get a 55 inch LED 3D HDTV with 120 hz or a 46 inch LED 3D HDTV with 240hz. I’m not a gamer but I love a good hi def movie with lots of action. Which do you suggest? Any TVs really stand out for reliability and good 3d performance? And if you don’t think I should buy a 3D tv, please include a link to a 46-55 inch LED that does not have 3D, because I have not seen one anywhere.

Although many people compare and confuse them.
They are not the same. Go to bestbuy.com and you will see that they are two different tv’s. The LED tvs are much thinner than LCD. There are some tvs that are hybrids with LCD-LED.
LEDs are basically just LCDs. LED televisions are really just LCD televisions that use LED lights for back lighting instead of the flourescent CFL lighting traditionally used for LCDs. So I would HIGHLY suggest you get a Plasma or LCD. You said you like high action movies, so that means you need a fast TV. Plasmas are great at handling fast action scenes. Better viewing angles and more vivid colors. 3D is just a gimmick so do not fall for that trap.
