For the Element TV FLX-2219 No Picture just sound. Could it be the bulb? How do I replace it?
I had this TV for about a year and a half and it was working great. Suddenly, I just get sound. I tried all the recommended troubleshooting and nothing helps. Thanks
when The screen is entirely BLACK the LCD might have died. When you can still see some movement without any background light the CCFL inverter inside of the tv that switches on the backlight of the screen might have blown. This is the most appearing problem to any kind of LCD that there is. If you saw the screen flicker before it went out the CCFL inverter is 99.9% out of all times the cause. This is not something you can replace easily unless you have experience and know where to get a replacement.
