Truly, in the past few years there have been significant changes in the TV wall brackets. It started off simply as TV bracket which provided support just for mounting up the TV on to the walls of your room. But nowadays you can also swivel, tilt the bracket according to the needs. Features are being incorporated into the TV bracket to make it more interesting and attractive. TV viewing has never been the same. Previously most models focused on attaching the TV to the wall, but nowadays you can also hook it up to the ceiling.

How do I mount a projector?

I cant mount the projector from the ceiling, because the way my room is, it wont work. All I can do is mount it from the wall, like what most school classrooms do with their televisions. Anyway, I am only 14 and my dad lives many hours away from us. We are afraid that if we try to install the mount, we might puncture a wire inside the wall, or we will make a hole in the wall, or we wont mount it right, and then there will be all the little holes where the screws went. Its just me and my mom.

You really should mount it from the ceiling, but you said that’s not an option.

First, test the projector at the position where it will be next to the wall. Make sure you can adjust the keystone correction enough to get an image that’s rectangular and not distorted. You will avoid this problem if you can mount it in the ceiling.

Next find a stud in the wall. Do this by tapping with your knuckles across the wall. You will hear a lower, hollow sound where there’s no stud. Drill holes for the projector mount plate, making sure they go into the stud. Attach the projector mounting plate using screws. Make sure you have at least two screws in the stud.

You won’t hit a wire, building codes require all wires to be protected by metal conduit or guard plates.
